Kenson Kgaga, the
Managing director of Naga safaris has started working in the tourism industry
since 1972 during his boyhood. Just after doing standard two, he left school to
work in numerous safari companies. He worked as a Waiter, Chef, and a
mechanical engineer. He became the Managing director of the now famous Audi
camp in 1985, where he worked until selling his shares at Audi, he became the
first ever Botswana to become a professional guide and the first ever to
operate a safari company. He started Bush camp in 1992.
When the government changed the booking system in the game
reserves and national parks, he sold the only company he owned, the well known
Bush Camp in 1999.
In 2000 he founded the Botswana Guides Association, to negotiate
the tourism policies with the government, look after the Guide’s rights and
working conditions as well as set up Tourism policies for the country.

KG, one of
the most famous of our Guides. All clients who go on safari with KG know that
he is always so happy, and cheery. You can’t help but have a fun, relaxing time
with him. Yet he has seen so much and knows the bush and animals so well. He
loves getting outdoors and when in the office, always talks about going back
out again! His is a qualified Professional Guide with the Botswana Guide
Association.

Max, is what we call a quiet achiever. He's modest and his spotting skills are second to none. He is fantastic at spotting animals and birds. When you start asking
him questions, he knows it all. He is also a Poler from the Okavango delta and
a Professional Guide, having done the Botswana Guide Association approved
Guiding Course.

Lesego and Bonolo, trainee

enquries, helping out with logistics, getting gear and equipment ready,
preparing meals… the list goes on.
