Naga safaris offer a mobile camping safari in tented accommodation (two people occupying each tent) with complete beds of duvets, blankets, sheets, towels. The tent includes wardrobes and lamps. Each tent has some ablutions at the back. The kitchen is in charge of a professional chef who does all the cooking chores.

Game drives are done by 4×4 game view open vehicles twice a day by our professional guide. We use 4 x 4 Game view vehicle with some side flaps for the winter and rainy seasons. He is in charge of all the vehicles and the laws of the national park and game reserve. Game drives are done early in the morning with a wake up tea at 5.30 – 06.00 am.

What to Expect

Safari in tented accommodation (two people occupying each tent) with complete beds of duvets, blankets, sheets, towels. The tent includes wardrobes and lamps. Each tent has some ablutions at the back. The kitchen is in charge of a professional chef who does all the cooking chores.

Game drives are done by 4×4 game view open vehicles twice a day by our professional guide. We use 4 x 4 Game view vehicle with some side flaps for the winter and rainy seasons.

Day 1

Okavango Delta which is 1 hour drive from Maun. Mokoro Guide will be waiting patiently to take you for your Mokoro which takes two clients each and the Guides leads all the excursions. You will channel along the Okavango Delta after excursion back to Maun and overnight where your accommodation will be served.

 

Day 2

Wake up early and have your breakfast then Naga Safaris Guide will be waiting in readiness to transfer you by 4×4 vehicles to Moremi  Game  Reserve a pure wilderness area and one of Africa most scenic game reserves with rich, green vegetation,  palm trees, teeming with birdlife and a vast population of wild animals arriving  late  in  the  afternoon  at  one of  the  camps  in  Moremi. Packed Lunches will be always served from Camp to Camp.

 

Day 3

Wake up  Tea/coffee from  5:30 to 6:00 then  the  Guide  will be  ready to  take you  for  your early morning  game  drives,  back  to  the  camp  for you  lunch and  relax  till  afternoon. Freshen  up  by  having  Tea/coffee  and  leave  for  you afternoon  game  drives back  to  the  camp  late  evening  after watching  the  sunset  by  the  hippo pool.

 

Day 4

Wake up early and have your breakfast as you will departure to Khwai Community sites in the Community concession and these is the only camps where you can make night game drives, driving along Khwai river and watching the hippos and crocodiles. Arrive at the camp which will be readily set by our staff.

 

Day 5

Morning game drives, the area has many different habitats including floodplains, reed beds and permanent wetland, Mopani forest, dry savannah woodland and acacia woodland. Back for your lunch around noon. Relax, read and unwind in this wilderness area.  Afternoon  we  depart  for  games  drives, till  late  evening back to  the  camp to  have your  bush  shower  and  dinner  will  be ready.  After having  your  early  dinner  you  will  depart  for  your  night game  drives.

 

Day 6

Wake up tea/coffee and the Guide will be waiting patiently to take you for your early morning drives watching the sunrise along Khwai River. Back to the camp around lunch. Relax, read and unwind in this wilderness area. Depart for your afternoon game drives after freshening up. Back To the camp after watching the sunset. Dinner will be served after having your bush shower you will depart for your night game drives

 

Day 7

Wake up early and have your breakfast, the staff will break down the camp as you will be departing to  Savute area, in the relatively dry centre of Chobe National Park, is renowned for being the home of spectacular herds of easily approachable  elephants. Arrive  late  at  the  camp  to  have your bush  shower  and  dinner  will  be  served.

 

Day 8

Early  morning  game  drives  along  Savute  mash watching  many jackals, spotted Hyenas are a major feature of this area and are more easily seen here than in other Southern African parks. Back  to  the  camp  for  your  lunch  and  relax till  afternoon. The guide will take you for the afternoon game drive viewing a vast African scale with open grassy plains, seasonal pans, acacia and broadleaved woodland. Arrive  at  the  camp  late  evening  ending  your day  around  the  fire.

 

Day 9

Wake up tea/coffee, and departure for your morning game drive. Back to the camp after watching hippos and crocodiles back  to  the  camp  for  your  lunch  and  relax till  afternoon. After  the  afternoon  game  drives  back  to  the  camp, have   your  bush shower  and  dinner  will  be  served around  the  fire  discussing  about  the  safari  with  your  guide.

Day 10

Early morning game  drive, then  back to  the  camp  for  your  branch, the  staff will  wish  you  a  safe  journey back  home as you  will  be  departing  to  Kasane  for  drop  off.
